99-00 Si gauge cluster in 99 4dr sedan gauge cluster doesn't work in the cold
Strange question.
This past summer I swapped the gauge cluster from a 99-00 Si into my 99 DX sedan. For pprox 4 months everything was fine. Now that the temp has turned a bit colder the speedometer has stopped working in the cold. Once the car has warmed up (say 10 miles of driving) the speedo will start again. Once the temp comes up during the day it also works.
Any suggestions?

Check the VSS? The cluster look like it's in bad condition? No CEL's?
If you can test it with another cluster, then you can assume it's the wiring.

The weird part is, like I said the speedo works fine if it's warmer out. the VSS looks perfectly fine. No CEL's. Haven't tried the old cluster yet.
