I have had really good luck with a 2MS Action Clutch kits on a few of my setups. Pedal pressure is not to bad for a street car, but will hold up and last no problem. This was on my older turbo setup that made around 350wtq and lasted me about a year or so, since I was a bit of an aggressive driver. Hit me up an I might be able to hook you up on one.

i think i have used an action clutch in the past with my NA engine (sourced it from Tom at camp1320) it was so stiff that it broke my clutch cable. it also cooked my flywheel, which is now chattering with a stock clutch.
lol
i broke my old ef cable with a exedy stg 1 clutch.
went out and bought a new OEM DA cable for $33.... no issues so far.
cc is like $295 shipped. can't beat that really

I think that might be the way. I want to drive this car everyday and I don't now. Just nerve wracking.
Ouch! It sounds like you may have had their older pressure plate that had a very heavy pedal feel. I know they had revised the fulcrum point giving a lighter pedal feel, being mine was not bad at all.
