gauge cluster lights instantly went out.
hey guys! just bought a 1992 acura integra gs and noticed that my headlight went out the other day. i shut off my car at a gas station and then came out and now my fog lights/dash lights all dont work. i believe the headlight being out could be the problem. (i am replacing it tomorrow) just figured id post here and ask if anyone has ever had this same problem. THANKS
You said, "noticed that my headlight went out" if by that you mean one (1) of the head lights went out, then it would have nothing to do with any of the other lights.
If on the other hand you mean both the head lights stopped working and none of the other lights work, [head lights, park/tail lights, dash lights] then I agree with el crapitan, it is most likely the CLS, [combination light switch].
If you have no lights at all, I would check the main lighting fuse first, fuse 33-50A in engine bay fuse box...

If that fuse is blown, you will need to find out why before replacing it, if on the other hand the fuse is good, you are going to need to check some wiring.
Do your DRLs work?
If so it is not the fuse, move on to checking wiring, starting with making sure the CLS is plugged in propely, if so test fo power on the white lead(s) going to the CLS, shold be hot, [have power] at all times if good, turn on the head light switch and test for power on the red/yellow lead, [low beam output] and red lead, [DRL output lead] switch to high beam and check for power on the red/blue lead, [high beam output] and the red lead, [DRL output lead].
Also check for power on the red/green lead, [park and dash lights output lead].
If all the above are good, your CLS is not the problem, go to checking under dash fuse box fuses, turn on the low beams and fuses 3 and 4 should be hot, switch to high beam and fuses 9 and 10 should be hot, fuse 11 is the park/dash light fuse should be hot any time the CLS is on .
All the above testing can be done with a 12V test light. 94
