It takes a lot of time and the car has to be completely gone over, which is an expensive process in itself. The car needs to be 100% smog legal, it must pass all safety regulations, it cannot be leaking any fluids, the title must be clean to make the process 100x easier, importation costs must be paid, the entire underside of the car has to be cleaned as well as the rest of the car (I believe you have to pay to have this done by someone certified). Fill out 3 different pages of paperwork and then call Acura to have them confirm the transfer.

9 times out of 10 Acura/Honda will not condone the transfer.

It is a HUGE PITA!!!
