Default Type r shift linkage and shifter...Do I need a weight shift ****????

I'm about to put on a integra type r shift linkage and shifter...Do I have to use a weighted shift **** like the ITR shift ****? or can I just use a spoon one or something...
main question is...will it mess up the Throw? will I be able to get into gears just fine at high and low rpms?
Will The throw be messed up at all if I used a spoon lighter shift ****???

No it will not affect it to that extent, shift **** goes by personal preference, pretty much what you feel comfortable driving with. And to my knowledge I thought the only difference between the ITR shift linkage and shifter was the color finish gold linkage/ polished shifter
