RIP 2001 PY ITR #029
Recently stolen in Tampa, FL on Wed, October 24th. Sad to see it taken, I'm still in shock that it has happened after 12 years of owning the R, I thought I had avoided all the fucktardisms but apparently not. You were a ******* great car to love and enjoy, there isn't anything else out there like you.

damns so saddd
...... You should check orlando... after 3 years of looking for one of my stolen R from texas turns its out there in orlando.. trying to see if the person the know about the shell willing to work with me to see where the car has been.

Any time my buddy sees an R he pulls them over and verify a that the owner is driving it and checks for signs of theft. The owners usually appreciate it after he explains why they were pulled over

Sorry to read that. It's story like this that kept me from buying one.
Do you wish to share your story? Was it left parked outside? Parked at Walmart? Did someone take it by force?
To go OT, any guess on how many registered ITRs are there still out there? We keep reading number being crossed off the list.

Plus- I wouldn't think many thieves steal these R's to ride around in. They steal them to tear them down and sell off their hotly desired, unique parts.
OP- I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, I'm all too familiar with that terrible feeling...
