Default Its not always good to be ..."big"

So Im looking for some rims for my car, but I dont know how big they should be. I have a 94' DelSol Si and I was thinking nothing bigger then 16' but a friend of mine is selling his 17' for cheap, and I was thinking of buying um. My question is this, how well will 17' fit under my car? I guess I could keep my original rims and put them on for Auto-X, but 17? seems a little to big. Will I rub alot? Anyone try 17s on a delslow yet?

even if you lower your car, 17's will still make it look high off the ground.. plus the tires arent very cheap.. and yes, they tend to rub a lot depending on your ride height.
