Need Help Clearing CEL (b20 swap)
I did a b20 swap in my 96 integra (obd2A) to get rid of oil buring 1.8, used the old ls intake manifold, dizzy. The b20 is a obd2B. Its running fine but the only CEL is p1337 no signal to knock sensor.. that im tryin to clear. I tried the bypass trick where u quick splice c1 to c4 and c11 to c14 then cut c1 and c11... still nothing I douple checked the wires and they are connected correctly, does this trick not work for everyone?
are you using the b20 ecm? that's the only explaination to that code, since the b18 doesn't run a knock sensor and so the b18 ecm wouldn't be looking for signal.
use the b18 ecm
use the b18 ecm
P1337 isn't a knock sensor code its the CKF code for the sensor by the crank. Is your engine JDM because if so it doesn't have this and you'll have to bypass it.

my code and my bypass, only code im running.. i cut the wires after the splice(c1-c11) but ill try to reconnect them and see if anything changes... i also have the dizzy that came with the b20b but thats obd2b and i would have to rewire to fit my obd2a harness if i use it...
the car can actually run with no cam signal. crank signal is the necessity.
however, without cam signal, you will get horrible fuel mileage, as cam signal is used for cylinder id. without cyl id, fuel is pulsed at paired cylinders, since all the ecm has for cyl id is tdc number 1.
actually, when you first start the car, the ecm has no idea where cam, and therefore, cyl position is. cam position is learned on every start up. the ecm just dumps fuel at all cylinders until cam position is learned.
did you try clearing the code? and if so, did it come right back?
