I need to do a swap on my 94 i can get a f 23 fully rebuilt vtec. bit some ppl say it won't work. others say plug and go. except i will have to run vtec since my mine is lx. or is it easier to go wit a f22b1not told sure so please anything will help

 

Neither engine is really better than the other... Just a few hp difference. Also since the f23 is an obd2 engine your gonna have to swap sensors and such

i got a 96 lx w/ a f23A4 vtec. runs hard plus swap was easier since the car was already obd2. also like 4 sensors missing on the stock harness.

 

what f22 head are you talking about...for the most part the f22b1 and f23 head are the same
