Icon2 f23, is it a great vtec motor for swap

I need to do a swap on my 94 i can get a f 23 fully rebuilt vtec. bit some ppl say it won't work. others say plug and go. except i will have to run vtec since my mine is lx. or is it easier to go wit a f22b1not told sure so please anything will help

It's pretty much a straight drop-in using all your stock F22B2 mounts. And yes, you'll need to add VTEC and VTEC Pressure Switch.

How do i do that. Wit my stock ecu or wat. Its a one wire vtec green and yellow striped

Is the "H" key broken on your keyboard or something?


No you need an OBD1 VTEC ECU and convert the F23 to OBD1. Or convert your car to OBD2 and run the F23 VTEC ECU.

I would suggest if you are looking for that mad tight VTEC that you save up and do an H22 swap. Because the F23 VTEC is not built for performance, it's a grocery getter!

Never said the F series aren't fun. they can be for sure! I opted to build an F over an H swap. However, it's not for the VTEC!
