Default 2006 or 2007 4-cyl. Accord Sedan Brake issue

Those who have a 4-cyl. sedan please comment on the braking for the 2006 or 2007 years. Is the braking good? Any complaints??

Theyre really good when I had mine, only problem I had was the pads seem to wear pretty fast so make sure you get some good quality one even if it mean a dollar or two more

Thanks for the response. So, the overall opinion of the brakes on the 2006-2007 accords is favorable? Are Honda pads considered the best? Any other comments is appreciated.

From the G7 Accord on, brakes (pads) seem to be an "issue." Cost cutting, cheaper pads, so wears out faster.

As a past owner of a 2006 I4, I didn't felt any weakness in the system.

The only thing I had to get used to was that the (G7) Accord had become a bigger and heavier car. That took about 2 weeks to get used to.

So I guess the braking was good on the 2006/2007 accord I4 cars. I'm thinking on buying a 2006 accord I4 soon, and the only negative issue from Consumer Reports was the brake area on these two years. Any other comments is appreciated.

You can always upgrade to larger V6 6 speed rotors pads & calipers. Direct bolt on.

That's what I did on mine.

After-market upgrades are cheap for rotors and pads. My 08 coupe had the rear calliper pins (bolts) reversed from the factory which increased pad wear, there is a service bulletin on this but not sure if it affects the 06/07 models. nice cars, good luck with the purchase.
