Need opinion and new pics of the Honda
Inb4some1saysfakewheelsorrice
All work done by me (had some help but not much)
Day 1:

Before pics:

After:

Now onto the opinion part. I am about to purchase new seats (I really need them) and am looking am looking at Sparco Fighter. Now, I am only going to purchase one right now and pay it off and buy the other. Do you think it will look dumb sporting a Sparco and a fake Torino wannabe as my passenger until I can afford to buy my passenger seat?
Edit: I am aware of fake wheels so no need to point out
I see no need to buy real wheels since I live in the Rockies and they would get smashed after one winter

New wheels, and paint the rear plate holder the same color.
Looks stupid gold.
EDIT: Paint the front lip, and get a stock grill. The hood fitment looks off too. Loose the fogs, the fitment is also horrid.
Other than that, you almost did a complete turn around.

Wheels are fine for now, paint the license plate holder and front lip the same color as the body. Make things fit better, maybe source out an SI/CTR grille or OEM instead of that mugen rep grill unless you can paint that too. headlights as well. body seems off still. I'd work on the engine/suspension now just to be sure its reliable for driving, then interior. nice progress
What do you plan on using this for? daily? track? auto-x?
write up a list of priorities for:
Engine
Suspension
Interior
Exterior

Like I said, the wheels are Rota but I hate to spend big bucks on real wheels since they would more than likely get trashed and I don't want that to happen.

To be honest, wheels don't matter. You can have a **** exterior, but as long as the vehicle is reliable, strong, and comfortable to you, that's all that counts. Don't be sorry for the fake wheels with decals, they're just temporary like you said. Better than using steelies.
Anyways, if you're going to keep the grill and lip black, maybe paint it a black with clear, so it stands out a bit cleaner? I'm sure spraypaint and good prepwork can do the job, right? you appear to have a source with a booth and gun so might as well ask them to do it again. Anywho, it's a minor thing.
Losing the fogs and putting on an SI style or OEM lip would've really set it off! People love that ****, lol.
Good luck getting good seats. Honestly, i'd just wait and get a set used so I know that they're in the same condition at least. To each his own!
really nice color btw.

The bumper and grille are 99-00, but the hood is 96-98. It just looks like a typical thrown together car like I see driving around all the time in Oklahoma.
As for seats, why not just save up and buy both at the same time?

Just my opinion though and I guess I never noticed the hood until you said something. As for the seat situation, I need a seat right now but can't afford a full set at the moment. I just had to purchase some new rubber.
I don't see that there is much of a difference with any Honda these days. Its all about "JDM" right now

Has a brand new showy paint job but won't buy real wheels cause they will get ruined. #cant explain that. Dear OP, **** your fake parts.
Clean, simple, attention to detail, and OEM+ is in right now. Rotas, rattle bombed headlights, "mugen" grille, "mugen" lip, and no attention to detail at all is never going to be "in". It's typical of what we have all been seeing for years. Not a big deal if you like the car and enjoy it though.

Someones mad
Focus on the quality of the ride, not how it appears to others eyes. So you wouldn't plan on turboing the b18? People get too butthurt for minor things, in the end it's just a Honda. How's the CRX you're mentioning?
Ah, good luck there man. Much respect if you get all those plans though, though there's an 80% chance those ideas will change by then. I'd have much more respect for a rebuilt CRX than a Civic. CRV-tec in a CRX would be amazing! Well then man, kudos to you for having better priorities than genuineness .

What's "in" is whatever the owner wants the car to be "in."
OP, you need not heed the quoted post. You don't need to listen to what other people tell you your car should look like to fit in with the crowd.
