Default Integra GSR Clutch/Flywheel Preference for DD.. Best Price

Alright I have been searching around.

1) Exedy OEM Clutch/ Fidanza
2) F1 Clutch (Can't Decide cause too many Pros/Cons
3) ACT Clutch Combo

I'm more leaning towards Exedy clutch for DD... What you guys think? I read a lot on forums, but can't decide

Stage 1 exedy, stock flywheel resurfaced. That's what I run on my DD. The stage 1 is barely stiffer than stock. Too stiff of a clutch, like F1 or ACT, makes the car more unpleasant to drive in traffic. I didn't want a lightweight flywheel because of how quickly RPMs drop off (many disadvantages for a DD IMO). You could go a few pounds lighter, but I wouldn't do a 7lb flywheel. If you ever make it a road racer, then get a super lightweight flywheel.

Disadvantages of a lightweight flywheel on a DD:
1.Harder to drive stop n go especially with the AC on (see #2)
2.RPMs drop off quickly, need to shift like you're racing all the time
3.Lower MPG (my opinion)
4.Weaker launches (for fun )

Yeah, stock... After more search, I think about either oem exedy or stage 1 with stock resurface flywheel. I think that's the best for a DD and better than purchasing another flywheel. Anyone know where's the best deal for stage 1 or exedy oem?

how you drive would be the factor i use in oem vs stage 1. the stage one will take tire frying, autocross, hard driving and sustained high rpm. the oem will pop a spring if you do this enough

flywheel? resurface your stock one. honestly easier to drive and in many ways faster since you don't have as quick of an rpm drop. best B series flywheel i have used is an OEM ITR. the 9.5lb exedy chromoly steel unit isn't bad either but the teeth are sharp and sometimes are a pain to make jive with your starter. you'll know what i mean if you get one and it clicks on occasion and you have to rock your car in gear to get it started

The exedy stage 1 is a great clutch for just mild bolt on parts. A buddy of mine has a 12lbs flywheel and stage 1 and loves it. And ive always thought when you resurface a flywheel it eats up the disc faster?? Idk for sure but thats what ive been told.
