Shaky engine at certain mph
After the d16y8 swap into my civic hatchback, my car has not driven the same anymore. I need some advice because my car shakes a lot at certain speeds in all gears; however, it drives fine once you reach a certain speed. I'm thinking that it is my lower driver side rubber mount that is causing my car to be very shaky and stall. My rubber mount broke during the swap due to old age. If you have come across this problem, then someone must have the answers. Just do not want to put in parts that will not fix the problem.
You sure its not a suspension vibration you're feeling?
I have a similar issue where the vibration occurs only in a certain gear at about mid throttle. I think its the tranny because its only in a certain gear at a certain speed.
If speed is the only parameter that it occurs in i would guess suspension.

Also, i forgot to add when ever I drive it on first gear if i give it a little the car seems to be very shaky and doesn't drive smooth like my cousin's civic. I thought it was the throttle gas cable but once I switched it, didn't fix the problem. It only made it less shaky.. The problem usually occurs after 1.8k 2K rpm in every gear including fifth! But once I passed 2K the car doesn't shake no more.. I'm clueless as to what is causing the car to jerk like this...

No, trust me it's not a typical shake, lol... It's like a jerk that shakes the car and you back and forth, lol! It's way more severe than shaking it's jerking! It just doesn't drive like how a normal civic is supposed to drive. In other words, it's not smooth... tends to jerk a lot!
I'm not even sure what the prob is with this car anymore! Tired if spending wasted money on this junk car, lol! Well, ill keep you guys up to date I have switched driver side motor mount and car is jerking a lot less but still very noticeable! I'm clueless now! Also, starting to make grinding noise when car is in motion and makes a slight click or two when I turn left. Maybe bad left axle? I've checked all motor mounts are they are in very good condition due to recent replacements... I know there is a person who knows about this problem...
Only code on cel is o2 sensor, that's it! I'm about ready to just sell this car due to the fact that I've spent so much money and time on repairs and ultimately not be able to stop car from having a shaking cabin feel while car is in motion at 1,500 rpm in any gear. Also, when ever i let go of gas peddle engine shakes a lot/jerks.. I think it could be a bad axle?
If it's throwing a code, maybe you should fix that and see if it resolves the problem instead of taking random stabs in the dark. The CEL is on for a reason - something is wrong.
While you're properly diagnosing and fixing the O2 sensor code, check your ignition and mechanical timing.

Loosen all ur mounts let the engine idle give it a couple of revs then retorque them, this allows the engine to settle in he'd the same problem in my ek when I did my itr swap
