Default CRX headlights suck...I need new ones, which ones?

I know this is a gay post...but damn, I can't hardly see anything at night when I'm driving around and I obviously can't roll with my brights on.

So tell me...what type of headlights are in the stock CRX headlights? Aren't they H4 or something? What brand will last the longest, and what's the appropriate wattage that will give me best visibility?

Thanks -

Alex

Stock headlights take 9006 bulbs.

Stock housings in general suck. But if you want a good bulb, go with PIAA or Raybrig ones.

Okay, so what wattage of the 9006 bulbs do I need? Can I use any of them? I see some for 51w, some for 55w, does it matter?

I mean obviously the higher the watts, the brighter the light...duh...but I just don't know if I need to go with a certain one or not.

Do they sell these at parts stores at all, or just online at places like inlinefour and optionsauto?

Thanks again -

Alex

Convert your 9006 housings to 9005, they produce more light for about only 10 more watts.

If the low beams are 9006, you can convert to 9005, although it might create too much glare since you have prismatic reflector-type headlights. There are projectors out now that use 9006 projector lenses, same as Integras. Convert those to 9005 and I guarantee you will be able to see much better.
