Default EG/DC Prototype Triptronic Trans Mount Bracket**

So, Started a build on an Integra a couple months ago and one of the steps in the build was to construct a Transmission bracket for the triptronic auto trans. Also shaved the bay, tucked the brakes, clutch and wires, s2k cluster install, and much more. The main reason I made this thread is because I wanted to share the mount design with the rest of you v6 guys. The bracket is designed to run with the Hasport gen 2 kit on the lower setting for hood clearance on the EG/DC chassis. The car will be up and running in the next week. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Initial mockup. Making sure all the parts fit. Now i have to pull it back out, cut it apart and do the pretty stuff.

All tacked up after slots and holes.

Welded, smoothed and cleaned.

Primer.

Installed.

How do you plan to shift the cars transmission? Just leaving it in drive, or will you have some paddles on the steering wheel?

Its equipped with a triptronic shifter and all the necessary electronics. Paddle shifters are something the owner and I are discussing in the future.

Thanks guys. And yes it sits super low. The kit is designed to do so so the hood can close. Nothing some 17" wheels and a little bit of wheel gap cant fix. Just depends on what kind of fitment you like. If you are the type of guy that has to be slammed on the daily then this swap is definitely not for you. It can always be slammed for shows.
