Default D16y7 AUTO intake manifold question??

hey guys its been a while since ive been on here, but for starters i have a 99 civic lx (d16y7) automatic , yeah i know dont **** on me for it, its my daily driver and my first car. ive done a few mods, intake , coils wheels, etc. i have a header i just gotta weld a cat on so i can pass inspect. im saving up for school so im sorta tight on money, and as we are all aware i have the infamous toilet bowl intake manifold , useless hunk of junk. so i was just screwing around checking ebay and they make intake manifolds, yeah no-name brands for like 100$ , my question is , do you think its trustable , i cant really afford a s2 or blox, nor do i wanna buy a y8 mani or spend money on an expensive one cause my car is auto, i just wanna get more used to swapping mechanical parts out.

heres an example ;

thanks!

What's wrong with using a Y8 manifold?
They'll mate up to that head without a problem, flow better than the POS Y7 manifold, and I personally think they look better than aftermarket ones.
They can usually be had for cheaper than $100 too
Here's one with a throttle body and its sensors too:

Just my 2 cents: the aftermarket manifolds aren't worth either the high cost of a name brand, or the low price of a knock-off

If you wont spend the money on a qualitly part, OR an OEM part leave the damn care alone.

All you will do is screw the car up. You are wasting money.

That header was a waste of money too.

PS: that manifold looks like **** to start with.

No performance gains on a slushbox with any intake mani.
Just because its a go fast part doesnt mean its going to make your car go faster.
Some parts have the absolute opposite effect.
Better off saving money for school , books are expensive.

Waste of money on a Y7. You will barely feel anything from this mod.

You STILL plan to buy it? Holy ****.

Also, explain this to me. How do you plan to tune the car after?

Not much. Especially with that long geared transmission.
Waste of money.

That's how I read it.
The Y8 swap is a noticable difference, but remember the car is a auto. There are NO companies that have tuneing software that support a auto. (that i'm aware of)

I have a Auto Y7, trust me, it's a waste to do anything to it. Just drive it and enjoy the MPG.
