Whole Exhaust Piping cost?
I was thinking about purchasing a Greddy Spectrum Exhaust for my 2000 GSR and a new DC Sport header. I don't have the tools or knowledge to change them out of my vehicle, how much would it cost to bring the parts to a mechanic and have them put it in for me? Also, how long would it be just to remove the stock header and exhaust to replace them with the new aftermarket ones? Seems like a pretty easy and fast job, but I wouldn't know, never messed with cars before. Sounds like all you have to do is take off some bolts and remove the parts then replace them and bolt them back on. Thanks for posting!
Extremely easy. It's simple as unbolting the old and replacing with the new.
And without a tune, the power will be negligible to a slight power loss.
If tuned, maybe 5-15hp. IMO not worth it go FI. Just my 2cents
Cost at a shop will most likely quote you 1 or 2 hrs labor. That's it. So anymore from 80ish to 170ish

Got to agree with all the above, although tying shoes laces will be a lot easier, [no tools required] swapping exhaust systems is pretty much a no-brainer.
However, if you have the $$$ to support you local community, by all means, go around to a few places and get some quotes, and like I said a muffler shop should be cheaper, or a "mom&pop" mechanics shop, "independent mechanic". 94

Thanks for the inquiries, but like I said, I don't have the tools to do the parts changing and I don't know much about cars so I wouldn't want to break something else trying to change the parts. Does anyone else know what would be a cheaper way to gain power instead of Exhaust+header? Or something else that will be cheaper and add more power? Also, must be legal to drive on the streets with. Thanks!
Intake and exhaust are the cheapest thing you can do to add power, A nitrous system can be cheaper then an exhaust system, even just some exhaust manifolds, [header] but don't know if it is "street legal" anywhere in north America.
With that said, the cheapest and best thing you can do for "optimum" HP is a proper tune up, I have seen HP increases as high as 10-15 HP just with a proper tune up.
We just done a Honda Civic with a GS-R swap, put it on the dyno for ***** and giggles before and after the tune up, gained about 12HP and just under 4 ft/lbs. 94
