Default Building the f22, got a question or two

Ok so I'm going to be rebuilding my f22, I know it stock bore is 85 mm and stroke is 95 mm, I was wondering if I could get away with running h22 pistons that are 87 mm on the stock block with no sleeves and will it give me a higher compression ratio? I've tried searching this but keep running into dead ends, and if that wont work what would you suggest to raise the compression ratio a tad from stock, any help is great full, and thanks in advance

97mm in the F22 is touch and go! People have done it. Personally I wouldn't do it. It leaves the OEM iron sleeves a bit on the thin side.

As for the compression, running H22 pistons on F22 rods would raise the CR up to approx. 11.5:1, the piston will be out of the hole 0.02". You will have to find a shop that can mount the H22 floating wrist pin pistons onto the press fit wrist pin F22 rods. I have seen it done.....

Also a note, the combustion chamber of the F22 head is only 85mm. It would be best to have a machine shop take them out to 87mm to match the bore.
