my 92 accord heater will cook you around town but on the higway the engine temp goes to cold reading and i get poor heat iwas wondering if i need to put aflap on the front like the big rigs to get moter torun hotter so the heater will blow hotter

 

Sounds like you have an open thermo stat, if it doesn't close then the motor won't stay warm, and vise versa in the summer

 

I have the same issue, I think its the thermostat.. Mine stays normal around town and when on the highway it gets cold. ITs like a 10 dollar part

Whenever I stop, the heat cools down a bit. Could I have the same problem?

It also takes a pretty long time to get the car warm
