Default Idle problem

I'm having the same issue! I have a 2010 Accord (base model) that I just got. I didn't notice it when I test drove it, but now it's annoying the hell out of me! It feels like it's braking when I let off the gas at lower speeds. I don't notice it on the highway. I'm bringing it to Honda tomorrow because it feels like there's something wrong. I've never owned a car where you have to get on the gas a lot to get it back up to the speed you were at after letting go of the gas briefly. Don't understand how this would help gas mileage??? Shouldn't it just coast as if in neutral when you let off gas? Very annoying...

SO annoying. No, never solved the problem. The receptionist at the dealer said she had the same issue and thought that it was a problem, but that the tech's told her it wasn't. Anyway, on a positive note, I've gotten used to it, but I don't know if I would have been as 'sold' on the car if I had noticed it to begin with. Another positive, I test drove a bunch of Accords including different years and models, and IMO, the 2010's felt more solid than newer ones. I read on one forum that after the tsunami, Honda has skimped a little on quality. Who knows. Good luck and I hope there are other redeeming qualities about your Accord that make you look this annoying 'feature'.
