rust convertor on brake lines?

rust convertor on brake lines?

My hard clutch line just blew and my brake lines look just as bad. I plan to change them, but its gonna take time that I don't have at the moment. Any reason I shouldnt put rust convertor on them?

If you have time and money for rust converter (a real one not one you get at walmart) then you have money for brake lines
