Hey ht all motor what's up I know someone's had to have had to order some file to fit piston rings, my builder called me up and said I need some for the 85x89 Lsvtec he's putting together for me, links or direction to a sponsor that carries them on here would be amazing it's the last thing I need before he assembles it
if he is assembling it, then he needs to file the rings. How are you going to file them when you dont even know themeasurements?
What kind of engine builder did u bring it to?
A simple flat file found at a hardware store will work.

If you are asking where to buy 85mm rings, you need to talk to the piston manufacturer. Not all 85mm rings are the same. The pistons are machined to fit specific rings.

I called probe industries. I'm using probe industry pistons that I guess use Nippon racing rings,
The set I believe I need Is
Part Number: SWH30437-4
Bore Size Top Ring 2nd Ring Oil Ring Type
85.0mm 1.2mm 1.2mm 2.8mm Pre Fit
4 Cylinder Set
But these are pre fit & I need file to fit.
