I want to first say I have searched all over and found no info on this proposed conversion.

OK, so apparently my wife's grandfather is going to give us his 01 Accord sedan when he buys a new car soon. This is my favorite body of the accords until the new cross tour. It's also my favorite year for the prelude, so I thought maybe I could combine them. And before any "just buy a lude" comments, I have 3 kids and a 4 seater doesn't cut it, if it did I'd get a 300zx or a Supra.

So to the meat of it, has anyone done it? I was thinking maybe I could just get a jdm front clip and go from there and maybe do a power train swap as well. I was pretty sure they had the same basic under structure, but please correct me if I'm wrong. I really hope it is possible without extreme modification (meaning I'd have to pay someone, i.e. metal fab) because I'm sure it would be quite unique and turn lots of heads.

 

I doubt it would be a simple task unless you have Jay Leno's cash.
