It appears in the pictures you provided that the calipers were painted red. Unless the "EBC Red Stuff" pads were bleeding their color onto the calipers, I'd say the Holy Red brakes batman was an appropriate response to the shenanigous amounts of spray paint it must have taken to achieve that coverage and color.
