Yes, buy a new one, the old one has too many miles on it.

Default Buy a new head or rebuild old one?

Looks like I'll need to get valve work done on my head again.

Some facts:
It had been lightly milled and had valve work twice. It is almost 12 years old and has over 260,000 miles on it.

Should I just take the plunge and buy a brand new completely pre-assembled head?
Or should I just rebuild the one I have now?

What are some pros and cons to each? Two that I can think of off the top of my head are:

Pro to rebuilding the head is that it is $800+ cheaper than buying a new one.
Pro to buying a brand new head is knowing that everything is brand new (piece of mind) and all I have to do is wait for it to arrive at my doorstep.
