Car wont start when hot....Replace the distributor I had this happen with a 92 hatchback car cranked right up and I never had a problem after that

 

did you replace the main relay for the fuel pump?? thats probably what the porblem is, if I was local I would pick this up in a heart beat

 

Distributor was replaced already. I have checked the main relay, everything looks fine.

 

Just re-solder the main relay just in case. I had two cars with this issue.

screw the check man I would replace it. what happens is the connections come loose when it gets hot. I bet when you checked it it went back to the way it was bc it was cool. thats why it starts and then doesnt sometimes

 

I had a few civics with the same problem as well. My advice, main relays are cheap. Replace it and see if the problem goes away.

 

Isn't the main relay is what turns on the fuel pump? My fuel pump turns on and everything.
