I am learning to drive stick, and while learning i sometimes stall.
When i stall the car, it wont start right back up.
After 5 minutes of waiting, it'll start back up and run fine.
It seems that the more times i stall the harder it is to start.
Only problems starting are after I stall it.

Any ideas on how to fix this??

 

Do you hear the fuel pump priming?

Next time you stall the engine, turn the ign. switch off, then turn it on to the run position, not all the way to start, and listen, can you hear the fuel pump priming, running for a few sec. ? 94

 

I agree it could very well be fuel pump that went bad on it. You may also try to have someone take a rubbe mallet to the fuel pump while you try to turn the car over and see if it starts right up. Doesn't always work but it may.

 

i dont think he was saying that the fuel pump is the issue.i think he wanted to know so he could find out why if it did not.

op - check the basics when it doesnt want to start(fuel/spark,dash lights,cel,etc).the more info on how the car is acting,the more info we can give on as to why.
it could very well just be some kind of coincidental cutoff from stalling it.

how to fix?stop stalling it,lol.jk been there done that

 

Practiced driving yesterday, haven't stalled so its a +.

From what I can tell, lights work, no cel, dash lights up, have to check the spark and fuel next time i have the problem though.
