Default looking for POWER!

new to the board, and not very knowlegable about cars.. i know a fair bit, but obviously not as much as most of you on this board...
im looking for power in my 91 civic si. right now im sitting with my D16A6 , with cam kit and adj. cam gears ... its ok. not helping me win races i wanna race... i can easily beat new, stock accords , but im looking for MORE POWER. im not worried about price.
im currently really interested in the B16a1 swap. Is this the right choise or something better?

Whatever motor swap you decide on, there's always someone faster. Question is, how much are you willing to spend? If you're not worried about price, I'd go with a fully built CRVtec turbo....or for a daily driver street spanker...just get your B16a but make sure to build the bottom end and do some headwork too...CTR parts (pistons, cams etc...)...

a non obd b16 is the perfect starter motor. All you need is to buy a complete swap new spark plugs, oil, oil filter, other misc honda OEM parts http://hasport.com/Tech/Installs/Swa...20OBDb%20B.htm, and learn how to solder and how to read wire charts. Motor mounts make it simple and a custom wire harness like the one hasport offers makes it even easier (even though with an si all you need to add to the harness is 4 wires) and you definitely need a hammer.
