Default transmission replacement

99 accord 4 cylinder automatic - where to get a good remanufactured tranny? What is fair price for replacement transmission? Not talking about labor, just parts.

Search and you will find. You have a choice of either used low-mileage JDM transmissions, or a rebuilt one.

Ebay rebuilt transmissions. There are 2 that have very different prices, both look good.

The JDM one's are about 499$. I personally just bought an AT from this seller this year and received an excellent transmission. Mine was for a 91' accord and was only 309$. The only problem with getting anything JDM is that there is a small possibility you may receive a defective or abused unit. However this is rare with AT's and most are in good condition. Its more likely you'll get bad engines than transmissions.
