Hi all,

I recently bought myself a cute little 2002 Civic. The problem? I am a girl, I know nothing about cars and I replaced the rims with regular tires because I was upset with being so low to the ground and scraping the bottom every time I went over a speed bump... I know, I'm laughable. However, I am trying at the very least to figure out what the mystery rims are.

The only identifiable markings are:

15 x 16 1/2 JJ
VLA690KG
MC

And that's it.... Google wasn't helping.

 

Post to the Wheel and Tire Forum..you'll have your answer sooner there than here..then again, Toyomatt is pretty good with this stuff so we'll see....

 

They remind me of Sparco rims



..but because of the center / uni bolt, perhaps a knock off version? Oh, and welcome to HT! Congrats on the buy and hope you enjoy your Civic!

 

Yeah, they're knock offs. By ALT or ACE or some other random wheel company. I remember a friend of mine buying those exact same wheels for his celica...

 

I cannot recall what company made that replica of the old Racing Sparco Tarmac's, sadly.

 

Good, I'm just glad that they are replicas of nicer rims.

I just didn't want to sell a Rolex for the price of a Timex.
