Hey guys long time Honda owner here. I thought Honda's doesn't look good after year 2000 and before 1988. Now year 2012 heading into 2013, I'm starting to like the RSX! I'm really, really liking it! Only problem is I want one with no sunroof. I don't care about Type S or what not. There's no way I will find one in the US. Canada is the closest one.
I've never been to auctions, or buy cars online. I've been quoted anywhere from 1k-1800 for shipping a car. I'm thinking I can do so much with that amount of money. What I like to know is, does Canada have the same dollar amount as US? And how do I figure out kilometers into US mileage? How do I go through the transaction? What's the safest way.
Here's one I found, but it's an automatic! I like everything about this car. It's silver, no spoiler. It's going for $3,000.
Please feed me your thoughts. Give me any tips, advice, and warnings. The do's and don't.
Thanks.

It sort of comes down to if you are willing to pay $1000-$1800 just to not have a sunroof.
Weird that you want that, I would prefer a sunroof, but I suppose the fact that its rare is pretty cool.

Kind of exspensive to pay not to have a sunroof. Making a custom sunroof is even cheaper I believe.
find one that you like .. and if you like everything about it but it has a sunroof, then customize it. I think you have a better chance to getting a good car with all that you want and changing it yourself, than getting a car that might not be all that you want and its sunroof-less...

I've seen a couple crazy people do the ITR roof conversion... a lot of work for no sunroof... I never use my sunroof but it being there doesn't bother me enough to want to delete it or buy a whole different car just to not have it.

For real?! I didn't know other guys would go through that extreme to not have a sunroof. I thought I was the only one that didn't want sunroof. I'm afraid the value of these base model might jacked up. Please tell me no.
