Post D16Z6 BLOCK WITH A D16Y7 HEAD

I WANT TO KNOW IF A D16Z6 BLOCK WILL WORK WITH A D16Y7 HEAD. MY Y7 BLOCK IS MESSED UP AND MY FRIEND IS TELLING ME THAT THE Z6 BLOCK CAN BE USED. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT I WOULD NEED TO MAKE IT WORK.

Stop yelling.....

Would be helpful to know what car you plan on swapping the block into.
