Do you mean what is the tranny code for the Integra LS? I think it's S80.

I'm assuming S80 is from the 94-up hydro LS motor?

you dont want the ys1 you want the s1 . the ys1 has short gears like a b16 tranny. the s80 has longer gears that are good for boost.

Only prblem being i have a cable clutch, and not a hydro clutch. What tranny, that is cable of course, has the longest gears for my boost? I will be running Hondata stage3b, JE 8.5:1 pistons, in a Si-R1 engine. I got a Drag 3 turbo.

The longest geared cable trans that I'm aware of is the 91-92 USDM Integra LS (mine is stamped YS1). Mine's good for 90ish at 8K rpm in 3rd, tugging my '89 4dr.

Here's one gearing chart...there are others out there but this was the first I found:

damn this thread is full of WRONG info

90-91 S1/A1 same thing as far as i know. Small splined

92-93 YS1 LS or GSR you cant really tell without cracking the case GSR has shorter gearing of course. Bigger splined tranny uses same clutch disc as all other b series trannys 92+

Mine is a 90 and its a S1 there was also a YS1. This is a 90-93 tranny and from what I've read the S1 is no relation to the 4.440 XSi Teg tranny.

My tranny came out of a '92 Integra LS (I saw the title to the vehicle), and it is labeled as a YS1. SO, '92 USDM LS = YS1, unless there were other options for that trim level.

Here's a pic of the sticker on mine...looks like it says YS1 to me
