my auto trans when up in the daily and i found a jdm low mileage automatic replacement.
does anyone know if this is a direct bolt up and if the connectors are all the same for reverse, speedo, and shift solenoids?
thanks!

Year make and model of the car will help us answer your question. You will need a JDM transmission control module aka TCU. But yes the bolt patterns are the same. The connectors will be very similar, But JDM is left hand drive. So wires might be different. I would install the original wires from your car onto the new JDM transmission.
The JDM AT I got for my 91' accord works fantastically. I got mine off ebay from JdmEngineDepot, they are probably the largest supplier on the east coast.
JDM will hook up just like a USDM one will, don't worry about that. Actually, you can use 90'-97' accord AT's and 92'-95' preludes. The transmission I got was an "AOYA" model from a 96' accord.
I would be careful where you get your AT from, some may be defective. A large supplier like (JdmEngineDepot) will probably be the best bet. The transmission I got was in excellent condition, it shifts almost too good. I lucked out on that one.
Here is a thread from another site about my JDM AT, check it out:
