FS: Fresh Rebuilt K20Z3 Cylinder Head
This was going to go on my K20Z3 but I dont have a job at the moment and I could really use the money! Just to be crystal clear... I dont care what other people are selling cylinder heads for so dont bother posting unless you are interested or would like to give the thread a bump.
The has been completely redone, it had just over 16,000 miles on it when I bought it and I decided to do a competition valve job to with aftermarket EV8 black nitride flat faced stainless steel valves. The intake valves are .5mm larger and the exhaust is standard. The surface of the head has had .0015" taken off just to clean it up. The motor is in my daily , which sees track use and I planed to keep oem cams in it so I replaced the oem single springs, spring bases, seals, retainers, and keepers with complete Type R valve train (dual springs, bases, retainers, and keepers) and new oem seals. The buyer is welcome to have the all the original valve train.
The rocker towers, rocker shafts, rocker arms, rocker arm pins, and rocker arm pin springs have all been completely disassembled and cleaned in a heated ultra-sonic tank then dried, soaked in lubricant (WD40 is my weapon of choice) and bagged for storage.
I also have the matching set of Z3 camshafts, cam gears, and pulse plates that go with the head if you want a complete package as well as a new Hondata IM gasket and a new 87mm Cosworth .015" head gasket. I also have a set of Supertech Ti retainers that can be included... I was debating on weather or not to use them being my motor was going to see mileage.
Pricing goes as follows and I will ONLY part it out if someone buys the head first.
Cylinder Head $1050 (Includes head ($500), valves ($200), seals ($30), seats, springs, retainers, keepers, valve job ($350), and resurface ($80))
Supertech Ti Retainers $150
Complete Rocker Assembly $250 (All 24 rockers, 8 small pins, 8 med pins, 8 large pins, 8 springs, 8 Lost Motion Springs, 2 shafts, 5 towers (uppers and lowers), and mounting hardware) Note: I can perform the cam tower oiling mod at a discounted price of $150 being its already in my hands.
K20Z3 Camshafts w/ RBC Gears and Pulse Plates $100
Cosworth 87mm .015" Head Gasket $120 (can trade it for a .0315" if buyer prefers)
Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket $45
If one person is interested in the complete package I'll let it ALL go for $1700 ($160 less then prices posted) or $1600 w/out Oiling Mod.
