Ok i been researching left and right, most of the threads are old and outdated. I read where its possible to install the S2k cluster in the ek without speedohealer and modifry. Is this true? If so how do i go about doing this?

 

I used a speedohealer and I used an aftermarket gauge for water temp. There were a couple guys that used a custom box to convert the speedo signal and there is this guy --->http://www.marklamond.co.uk/products/s2000/s2000.htm --- who I think does it all internally within the cluster to make it plug and play. But the easiest way is to use the speedohealer and modifry unit. You are also gonna need a potentiometer for the gas signal which cost about $2 at radioshack. The S2k swap cluster threads are not outdated, there is still plenty of useful information in those threads.

That's the thing, some of the threads are from 09 and down but that does not mean that they are outdated. There is still a lot of useful info in those threads that a lot of people still use today.

bump so that i can find marks link later lol so just to be sure i read correctly, mark sets it up so that its plug n play with the ek plugs?

 

He makes it plug and play to a certain extent. You still would have to cut and splice to mate it to your stock harness which is simple as hooking up a car stereo.
