Default Car stutters when cold starting in weather below 0, tested battery...

Battery is usually the first thing (only 1.5yrs old too) was about to swap out the battery when did test with volt meter and got 498CCA reading. So i think it has to be my starter. Should i go get it tested?

Anything lower than 0C (today was only -3) and when car is cold (sitting for at least 8 hrs), car stutters for 1-2 secs when starting. Sounds bit rough compared to when starting with car hot.

I plugged in my car today for 3hrs and still got the stutter when starting. That right there should tell you it isnt the battery.

If the starter turns out ok (and this is a Honda starter, these things usually outlast the car). Then other possibilities could be clogged fuel filter or O2 sensor (normally Mass Airflow sensor but civics just use O2). If it was a clogged fuel filter, wouldnt this Redline S1 fuel injector cleaner stuff that ive been dumping into my past gas tank help it?

It is suggested in cold-weather-starting to hold the accelerator at half-throttle, start the car, then slowly release the accelerator as the engine smooths out.

The weather is the issue. Not the car.

Oh never heard of that trick, ill do that! I guess no more remote starts? So is each time i cold start and it stutters, is it bad and puts extra strain on the engine and starter? Today when i started it (with car pluged for 3hrs), turn the ignition all the way and there was literally no response for 2 secs and sounded like a dying cat, then 3rd second it started to start and started fully by the 4th. This definitely wasnt normal.

Going to test the starter tommorow.
