Couple of Problems with my 98 spec ITR swap (A/C and white some from exhaust)
I figured this should go here vs the civic threads since the car is a 00 em1 with a 98 jdm itr swap.
First we'll start with my A/C issue. About a month ago I noticed my a/c stopped blowing cold while driving then a really weird rattle coming from the bay. I pulled over as soon as I could, turned off the car and popped the hood. What I found was somehow the clutch was hanging off of the compressor - Bolt that holds the clutch in was missing, so were the several snap rings and what not. I finally went today to order the parts at an acura dealership hoping I could just get that stuff and re-install my clutch, but something tells me these a/c clutches shouldn't just pop off like that. Someone in the service dept mentioned the compressor could be building up too much pressure or something wrong with some relay. Anyone ever hear of this?
Next issue is white smoke under full throttle. When i first got the car I took it to a buddies shop to get the compression checked, few other things checked out, car ran great, this was bout a year ago. oil changes have always been done before its due- I have been using a synthetic blend though- not full synthetic- not sure what I really should be using here. Sparkplugs and oil change was done maybe...1000 miles ago. There is no loss of power- the car still pulls like the day I got it and compression was at 260 across...or 280, dont have the paper with the numbers written down in front of me right now. But what are some things I should consider or look into. Ive heard it could be bad valves, bad piston rings, etc etc. I'm really not knowledgeable when it comes to motors internals and things like that. Any advice on what should be done would be greatly appreciated.

White smoke is usually indicative of burning coolant.
Blue-ish smoke is usually indicative of burning oil.
Black-ish smoke can be indicative of running rich.
Light-clearish smoke is usually water vapor/exhaust gases.
