trailing arms are the same from 88-2000 the brakes attached are diff though....now the control arms are diff from 88 which all japanese and european cars also came with from 88-2000 even the base models in japan just have a eye mount shock in the rear

The trailing arms arent all the same. For example, I have a set of 88 CRX Si arms and they are different than the set of 90 Teg LS arms I have. The Teg trailing arm bushings are quite a bit bigger than the CRX bushings. This may or may not have an impact on the handling/ride of the car, but it regardless it still is a difference.

i noticed my rear track is definitely wider after putting 90 ls trailing arms in place of my stock 89 CRX SI's. i still want to know if it is possible just to put on some hubs and disc brakes onto a drum style arm. oh well, have disc brakes, don't need to worry about that anymore. oh, by the way, anyone have some extra 90-91 crx ebrake cables around?

from what mugenef7 showed me there is a big *** bolt in the back of the trailing arm holding the brakes on u can take a crx si rar disc and slap it on....the trailing arm design is the same 88-2k u can bolt any of them onto the 88civic...i have 93 teg rear arms and the track as u call it is maybe a cm wider if that....i have barely any camber with them and they clear the fenders so its no problem

Even if you could swap out just the disc part for the drum you would still need to get new ebrake cables and that is the bitch part of the swap. So might as well just get the whole trailing arm.
