ND Mint 2000 Civic Si--EBP--5 lug--60,000 miles
********************SOLD!!!*********************** ************
2000 Honda Civic Si
Electron Blue Pearl
Mileage: 60,000
Price: $10,000 OBO
I’m considering selling my 2000 Civic Si. I’ve owned it for a little over a year and put maybe 1000 miles on it. I feel I just don’t have the time to enjoy it enough so I will let it go for the right offer. I bought it from a coworker with 58,xxx miles on it. He bought it years ago with something like 20,000 miles on it. I believe he was the 3rd owner, making me the 4th. He took incredibly good care of it, having it professionally detailed regularly and it was always stored inside, never driven in the winter. The condition and cleanliness of this car is hard to describe, but pictures do some justice.
Exterior- 10/10 All panels are original and it’s never been in any accidents that I know of. I’ve never done a Carfax to verify it but I take the PO’s word for it. There isn’t a single dent anywhere. Paint is flawless minus one scratch that I’ve seen. It’s a small scratch maybe .5” long on the bottom half of the passenger door. It’s very hard to find if you’re not looking for it. Just had the front lip repainted this summer due to a rock chip, so that’s perfect as well. I’ve never seen a 12 year old car in this good of condition. Literally perfect.
Interior- 10/10 The interior is flawless and complete with the OEM floor mats in excellent condition. Smells great inside, almost like a new car smell to me. Pretty much stock minus the Type R shift boot and Skunk 2 shift ****. Will come with a Kenwood cd player installed but I will include the OEM cd player with security code for the new owner.
Engine- Original B16. Runs and drives perfect. A/C works awesome. PO always used Royal Purple at 3000 mile intervals; since I’ve owned it I changed the oil once and used Mobil 1. The timing belt has never been changed so I would recommend the next owner has that done sooner than later. Better safe than sorry, imo. I plan on doing it next summer if it doesn’t sell. The clutch slips a very small amount when shifting hard at redline from 2nd gear to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. That is the only mechanical flaw on the car. I also plan on replacing the clutch/flywheel next summer if the car doesn’t sell. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it coast to coast.
I did the 5 lug swap myself this April, and everything works great. Thing stops like crazy and the ITR wheels look amazing. I replaced both axles this spring as well.

I realize my price is high, but I don’t need to sell this so I can ask what I want for now. It would be hard, if not impossible, to find another EM1 in this condition and the price reflects that as well. I’m open to offers and I’ll consider trades for a Subaru STI plus cash on my end. Any questions or offers can be sent via text or call to my cell phone. The number is listed up at the top. I'll answer PM's on here but the fastest response will be my phone.
Thanks for looking.

That is impressive if it hasn't been repainted. 60k miles without 1 rock chip on the hood or front bumper is nearly impossible to find these days.
Nice Si.

Um, i work at a bank, and KBB i see is $9,250 for suggested retail, which i know i could borrow, but even private party KBB value is $7,850. OP, dont listen to these haters, that is super rare to see one with that miles, condition, and has minimal tasteful mods. Go pound sand if you have a problem with his price. Id give him 10k tomorrow for it if i was in the market for one. You guys would probably be all over his nuts if it was k'd but in half the condition and body had 200k miles.
rofl, you really think KBB has anything to do with valueing this car?
i dig it, bump for you

this one deserves a bump and with all the beat up and chopped up hondas out there this one is RARE. I get a kick out of the negative comments reminds me of the election happening right now. the gift of ignorance.
