Hey what's up, i have a 91ls. My driver side window made a weird noise
noise as a was trying to put it up.... n it just stop working
Now its stuck half way. I can hear click as i hit the up button but it won't
move. I'm thinking its the motor.......

 

If you heard a noise as it was going up and it stopped, my guess is something broke and is now binding.

It could also be the motor, the car is over 20 years old, or the switch.

Remove the door panel, unplug the motor, use jumpers to supply power and ground to the motor directly, [red/blue and red/yellow lead terminals, [the black and blue are for the auto down limit switch] if window rolls down, reverse the power and ground to get window to go up, if window rolls up, [or down] the motor is not your problem and I would start looking elsewhere, starting with the fusew for the front left window, [fuse 7-20A in under dash fuse box.

The switch and wiring in the door jamb boot are also problems in older cars, the switch, if it is the problem, can sometimes be "opened" and the contacts cleaned, the wiring in the door jamb boot, if that is the problem, will be broken and will have to be repaired. 94
