After Market Keyless Entry
They stopped manufacturing the OEM model years ago, although if you know where I can get one that would be great.
I'm mainly looking for one that people have had success with on their 2001 Honda Civic

I understand they're discontinued, but that doesn't necessarily mean a dealership doesn't have one in stock. They may also still be available online, such as ebay. (haven't looked)
Happy hunting.

Called a couple places in case you were right, although I tried this a couple years ago. Anyway none had them.
I'm looking for good aftermarket suggestions for keyless entry that have worked with this car.

Bummer.
Hopefully someone will chime in with an aftermarket suggestion. I don't have one, as I've never looked. That and my car already has one.
I'll go ahead and move this to our Audio / Security / Video forum. Someone there will likely have a suggestion.

Any alarm or remote start will work, but as mentioned you would want to stay away from anything "cheap".
If all you are looking for is a keyless entry unit then just about anyting will work, we install the CodeAlarm keyless, ca2051, it is a Audiovox unit and very dependable and more important, inexpensive. 94

Viper makes a keyless entry and remote start
I've used it's system before. Its decent and affordable ($200) you can hunt amazon if ya want. Honestly, if you don't like what you purchase on amazon they take returns within 30 days no questions.
Make sure you get a 2 way remote. That way it tells you if you actually started your car while inside or if it failed. And yes, try and stray from the low end of the market.
