Thinking about using this ITR crank in a rebuild ?
I have a ITR Crankshaft that has a worn out #1 Rod Journal, and want to know if it is
still in good condition for repair. I have printed out the rod journal measurements for a review.
Unfortunately my micrometer doesn't measure in .0001 :/
So this Harbor and "Fragile" instrument will have to do for right now.

Well, the crank has already been turnred once, as standard is 1.771 in. you would have to go .020 under. How are the mains? Is the crank straight?
I would not use it.
I would not use it.
So the crank is Garbage ?
A machine shop wouldn't be able to fix this ? Not sure if the crank is straight. The main
Journals look good. I definitely was not going to use it in the current condition.
Actually have the readings right here!

Hmmm ? Nobody else want to chime in.
I guess the decision will be left for a professional very experienced machinist.
But the breed for these guys is very rare now a days! >_<

Dude. The thing is, a good crank now a days is so hard to come by!
I have a feeling the B Series engine will die out soon enough.

Huh!? I can find crankshafts all day for sale that are good? King Motorsports has a boat-load of them, give em' a call and see how much they want!
