Default ******99 SPEC ITR SWAP WEIRD PROBLEM'S******

Please read carefully. Thanks
So, i picked up this "99 spec itr swap" swap from someone on craigslist seemed pretty legit head, the block is unknown b18c. but doesnt matter to me. according to him the bottom end has been rebuilt 0 miles.

issue 1
Anyways, the head seems to get really hot, heat waves from the header(RMF Header) after like 2 min from idle from start up, temp gauge reaches normal operating spot quick. after about 7 min steam blows from that unplugged line(Blue line refer to pic2) and i usually turn it off because the head. the radiator hoses dont seem to get hot or hard, and my heater inside does not work and it used to work real good.

issue 2
Also when i pull the dipstick out after i turn the car off, it gets pressure"pssh" as i lift it idk if thats normal i havent seen or heard it before.

issue 3
This is apart from cooling system, ok so when i rev the motor up and try to hold the rpm in place at 3k mark the rpm drops up and down and goes "hi-low-hi-low-hi-low" also the FPR is set at 40 im scared to go any higher than that.

does the knock sensor have anything to do with it? my harness doesnt have one its been jigged rigged as well.

im running a p73 ecu i have no clue what to do now, im stuck. hopefully its not waterpump or head gasket please help me out honda tech!

please also refer to the pictures if i hooked up the coolant lines correct!

Bleed your coolant system, you probably have air pockets from that open coolant line

i put a hose and plugged the open line. only thing open is that bronze line on the bottom of the throttle body. hate how it idles above 1.5k and when i plug a obd1 p28 w/ jumper harness it idles hi low hi low even worse right on start up. with the obd2 p73 it only does it when the motor is hot.

check engine light doesnt work, so its hard for me to diagnose the problems :/

also found out the car almost wants to overheat when idle, but when the car starts going it drops to normal operating temp.

havent bled it, obd2 doesnt have a nipple but i made sure i put enough coolant lol when the car was on, jus the fan took forever to turn on so i didnt wait for the thermostat to open to pour in some more.
i dont know whats up with the cel i really need it though the owner before me bypassed it some how.

i also have another pretty serious problem, car wont let me pass vtec, doesnt even crossover. seems like i have a rev limiter at 6k. driving me nuts :/

ok update is fixed vtec, unplugged and re plugged in the clips toward it. crosses over strong and loud.

how ever idle is still rough hi low and when i push it alittle then shift to 2nd the car stalls out for a couple secconds then regains, then idle gets stuck dead at 2k untill i move the dizzy. then goes back to hi low idle.. anyone know what would be a problem for that?

ima list my mods
rmf aftermarket header runnin currently with no exhaust till i get a flange.
stillen fuel pressure regulator
fidanza lightened flywheel with stage 3 act clutch
intake filter on throttle body till i get the piping.
msd external coil with msd spark plug wires.
walbro 255 fuel pump.

thats all i can think of right now, previous motor was a boosted gsr aswelll.

I also found out that a bit of coolant is oozing out of the oil pan gasket, and actually forming a small quarter size blotch on the ground. look at these pics, would it be the o-rings on the thermostat connecting pipe? water pump? or something more serious? im sure this is why my car tries to overheat when idle sometimes, then goes back down as i drive...

As others have said do yourself a favor and start fresh with a new engine wiring harness unless your an electrical guru. Drain the oil and see if coolant is mixed in. Sounds like bad headgasket. Easy job. Make sure radiator fan is coming on, also re run that whack coolant line job how its supposed to be. Replace and calibrate tos sensor
