Any clue how to rig up a hatchback tie-down without using the hatch windshield wiper attachment? Thanks, amy

it never came with a hook on the latch. i tried doing the "caribiner" trick previously but the caribiner got stuck and i had to force it out with a pliers and screwdriver.
