Possibly fried ECU?
Hey guys newbie here and just bought a 2003 honda civic that doesnt run. It has 110,000 miles on it.
First thing i noticed is that the fuel pump doesnt pressurize when ignition is on so I changed the pump. Still same problem so I changed the relays that go to the fuel pump in the glove box and still didnt fix the problem.
I tried scanning the car and It wont scan codes. It keeps saying theres an error and tells me to turn the car off for 15 seconds and try again. Does this mean the ecu is fried? Please any info would be great. Thanks

The other thing thats weird is the car wont go into gear to move. The trans stays locked into park inless I stick a key down the slot next to park on the shifter. Then I can get it to move so I was thinking ecu is related to this problem as well?
Can I just swap a ecu from the junk yard as long as it has matching numbers?
