Emusa lca's
So i picked up my 99 ek about two months ago. The suspension is horrible, blown shocks, and way to soft suspension for me.Since i am on a tight budget i have decided to work on the suspension rear first then fronts.I got a pair of koni orange srt shocks and decided to give the emusa lca's a try,i know you get what you pay for but for $60.00 shipped i took a chance.Got them today and surprisingly the quality dont look too bad for what i paid, anyone have and experience with those?
Your bushings will probably be in pieces in 6 months or less. You get what you pay for. Hope you didn't throw the stock ones away because they're far superior to that knock-off junk.

Send them back and get your money back. Get new bushings for the OEM lca`s, you will be much happier with it, I promise you that.
When it comes to Emusa (EBAY) brand 'lca', experience is not needed with Ebay parts, you just know how bad they are.
Just my two-sense.

I'd drink $60.00 and **** it out within 24 hrs, with that said i figured i would give it a shot they could last 6 months or a year i guess i'll find out,i will keep my oem ones just in case.
^ well said marc. A header...ok it doesn't line up great, a couple bolts to go back OEM and no real major damage or massive amounts of time lost. Cheap intake? Whatever, five minutes and no gains, which is no suprise. Cheap suspension? Your bushings will go out ASAP, and you will have wasted a decent amount of time swapping them in, and then putting your OEM LCAs back in.
Not being offensive but I'd do more research BEFORE purchasing, as opposed to asking us after the damage has been done on your wallet.
There are TOOOOOONS of LCA reviews on the net. F7s are the only thing I'd use, or PIC (are they still made?), but I'd stick with OEM honestly.

OP is looking for that one person that is gonna post in here and say that they use these LCA's and had good luck with them to justify his purchase of the LCA's.
They're junk. i have $200 skunk 2 LCA's and even their bushings go bad after a while. i plan on selling them after i replace 2 bushings. i currently have my stock ones.. never been happier with them haha. my thread has pics, see for yourself

Lol knew i was gonna get flamed for this thread.Iwill see if i can turn some poly bushings on the lathe at work when the emusa's go out to see how that will work out.
of course you're going to get flamed when you ask such a stupid ricer question like that. what were you thinking? you think everybody on honda-tech is a ricer like you? NO. for the most part we're tuners. and tuners buy good quality parts, not parts that look cool so that you can show off to your ricer friends.....ricer..
came across this while looking at random stuff
if these are EXACT copies of skunk2, just with the older bushings, how is it cheap?
they're the same exact grade aluminum, same cutouts, same fitment, even include an aluminum insert instead of the steel ones that rust out and form cancer that the skunk's come with.
I know this thread is old, but this is one of the few no name parts I've come across that looks to be a good deal

LOL same grade aluminium? You must be high. They're knockoff crap. The metal they're made of is knockoff crap. The paint on them is knockoff crap. The bushings in them are knockoff crap. Aluminium doesn't rust? Rust is oxidation. Yes, aluminium oxidizes. It actually oxidizes faster than steel does.

both are t6061 aluminum
both are powder coated
the bushings are aluminum, skunk2's are steel
When I tried to put in new bushings on my skunk2 lca's, since they were shot after 2 years(that's when I actually checked them, they were probably bad a long time before that) I noticed the steel inserts were rusted to hell.
I couldn't even get the rust off with a wire brush on a drill, I had to take a grinder to get the cancer off, and obviously it's hard to make them like new again.
I'd rather have aluminum that oxidizes and doesn't impede the function of the insert in the bushing than a steel insert with tumors all over that don't allow an even motion...just saying...
I agree that 99.9% of all no name parts are junk, but this is one that actually a good deal.
