I have a quick question. I have heard this go both ways just trying to settle an argument.

Can you use JDM B18c5 Pistons 11.1 pistons in a USDM b18c1 with B18c1 head

I know the pistons will fit thats not the concern. The concern is using them with in the gsr with the gsr head without any problems. I have heard they will with work with out any problems. I have also heard they wont work with gsr head but will work if you use b16 head.

Hopefully this makes since. Any help will be greatly appreciated

 

they will work. you will need a tune.

 

Agreed they will work just fine you could even deck the block a bit and still not have interference issues within reasonable degrees.

 

b18cr pistons will work. it's the b16b pistons that'll give you all kinds of fuss.

and if they ask why say, "because honda-tech said so." that'll teach em.
