Can fuel injectors go out of balance?
OK, I don't want to keep spamming HT with all my little car problems. So I want to keep this question specific. Right now, I have two spark plugs that look clean and white, and two that look kind of black. Is it possible that due to age or clogging or whatever, that some of the injectors are squirting more than the others? Does a stock ECU know how to compensate for this, or can it only affect the overall rich / lean mix?
Yeah, I know there are places that clean / balance injectors, but mainly wondering if this was an issue with stock setups.
97 Stock integra GSR
Already ran techron to try to clean out the injectors.

no the computer will not compensate and yes this is a very possible scenerio. What u do is hook up a fuel pressure guage to ur filter. They sell a tool that can pulse injectors a set number of times, get one. then prime the pump, use the tool to pulse the inj ten times, note the fuel pressure. then do the next one and the next and then the last lol. Also dont let to much fuel build up in the cylinders, u may want to remove the plugs and spin the motor just so u dont flood it out or break a rod (highly doubt ud ever pulse the injecotr enough to do this).
On stock injectors, the difference in flow could be as low as tenths of a lb/hr - a self tester isn't going to reveal anything that minor.
Instead of buying a useless tool, I would recommend the OP take his injectors out and send them off to any one of the half-dozen reputable companies that can perform a proper flow test for ~$15/inj.

Yes, over time fuel deposits can build up on and inside the injector. The chemical solution you can buy locally will do okay, but it won't get everything.
A good cleaning service will involved a sonication process and flow report so you know what each of your injectors flow.
You can also use this data to install the injectors strategically. The higher flowing injector in the cylinder that get the most air, and the lowest flowing injector in the cylinder that gets the least.
Please consider us if you decide to have your injectors serviced outside of the car > https://honda-tech.com/forums/performance-45/streamlined-injector-services-new-fuel-pump-testing-3072766/

Bump to ask if there are any injector cleaning places that already have integra injectors on core exchange so that I can just buy from them, install the injectors, and send mine back.
